The former BP Site is 3.4 hectares, which includes 2.5 hectares of Public Open Space & 0.9 hectare of land designated for future waterfront industrial (maritime) use. The waterfront industrial site is managed by the State Government, in-line with its policy to maintain a Working Harbour. Together with the Coal Loader Site and Caltex Sites (2.8 hectares) a total of over 5 hectares of open space will be added to the foreshore of Sydney Harbour once all the ex-industrial site have been developed.
